Challenge:
After going through an expensive corporate branding & identify campaign, our company was left with little resources to spend on communicating our new identity and great ideas to the business marketplace.  We needed a cost effective solution that would not sacrifice results.

Solution:
We became experts in using free social and professional networking platforms for marketing, advertising, HR and to communicate our brand increasing our visibility out in the marketplace.  Using LinkedIn as a tool for our sales and delivery force, branding not only the company but also themselves.  Since people are no longer defined by their employer, it is becoming more crucial to develop your professional brand.  LinkedIn can assist in blog promotion, establishing yourself as an expert, and increase collaboration amongst like minded professionals in your area of expertise.  The tool has really helped in reaching our target audience and pushing a consistent and repeatable message out. 

When hosting a dinner party of industry executives, LinkedIn allowed us a line of sight into who our guests had relationships with.  After an introduction we then followed up with an invite to our event.  This expanded our network and grew our client base every time!  Linkedin has a function that allows you to share press releases and news to your network.  In 2008 Crescent had earned such awards as INC 5000, Deloitte Orange County Technology Fast 50, Deloitte Technology Fast 500 and Orange County Fastest Growing Companies.  We used Linkedin to promote our achievements to clients & perspective clients with direct links to those articles.   Using Linkedin has also hyper charged our lead generation of future customers.  We are now more effective in Relationship Management, follow-up, keeping in contact with current clients and reconnecting with past contacts.
